What is the difference between Traffic Survival School and Defensive Driving School?
Traffic Survival School is an eight hour class required by the MVD when you meet the criteria listed on the home page. You have to go to Traffic Survival School each and every time you are assigned in order to keep your driver’s license. Defensive Driving School is a four hour class for lesser offenses that you may take once every two years to keep a ticket from appearing on your driving record. If you have received an assignment letter from the MVD the ticket has already hit your driving record and it is too late to attend Defensive Driving School for that particular offense.
